During the week I listened to a song that I haven't listened to in a while. It is called "The bride" by the Christian rapper "Lecrae". In the song he mentions Ephesians 4, our text for this week, and he uses various metaphors from scripture to describe the church and her work. An important theme is that even though the church makes mistakes, she remains Jesus' bride and has a special place in God's heart and in His plan.
